A Comprehensive Strategy

Over the past year, we have recovered a total of 1,799,547 kg of waste, of which 298,949 kg (16%) correspond to recycled plastic materials. This effort not only reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills, but also decreases the demand for virgin resources, promoting more sustainable processes.

Glass Recycling

Glass has a particular characteristic: a bottle can take up to 4,000 years to decompose if it is not properly recycled. At our facilities, we ensure that this material is managed efficiently, minimizing its environmental impact. In 2023 alone, we recovered 44,960 kg of glass containers through our specialized program.

Plastic: Challenges and Solutions

Producing one kilogram of plastic from virgin materials generates approximately 3.5 kg of CO₂. However, by using recycled plastic, we can reduce these emissions by 1.7 kg of CO₂ per kilogram. This figure reinforces the importance of our plastic recycling efforts, which not only reduce the amount of waste but also make a significant contribution to reducing our carbon footprint.
